Job Specification
The primary role of Onsite Caregivers Hourly Carer is to ensure the highest possible standards of care are delivered to the client during a number of home visits throughout the day. By enabling and supporting our clients, we can help them to maintain their independence as far as is possible.
Primary responsibilities
Our Carers take care of general everyday and personal tasks that allow the client to maintain their independence and continue to live at home.
General services include, but aren't limited to:
- General housework, as well as light laundry and preparing meals.
- Errands like shopping, prescriptions.
- Administrative help such as letter writing, making phone class or filling out forms.
- Help getting out and about, taking trips, visiting friends or going on excursions.
- Offering companionship. Simple tasks like reading, chatting and listening.
- Personal care services include, but aren't limited to:
- Help getting up in the morning-toileting and bathing, washing and dressing.
- Help with going to bed in the evening.
- Overnight stays where necessary.
Our Carers will
never be asked to do anything that they are
not confident to undertake. The
responsibility of the Carer is centred on
the safety and well-being of the client. Any
accidents or minor incidents must be
reported and Carers must ensure that a safe
working environment is maintained at all
times, so as not to endanger yourself, your
client or others.
